[CIS] psuedo high-refractive index film

Si photodiode 표면을 미세하게 패터닝하여 effective film layer 를 형성하는 기술로 형성된 effective film layer 는 기존 반사방지막과 Silicon 굴절률의 중간값을 가지는 Meta Layer를 형성하여, Pixel 로 입사되는 빛의 반사율을 낮게 해주고, 감도를 향상시키는 효과를  낸다.

 

최근 논문 중, Sony에서 2021 EDTM에서 psuedo high refractive index film (p-HRIF) 제조법을 소개했으며, photo-mask 대신 co-polymer 의 direct self-assembly 공정을 활용하여 패터닝했다. 이 결과는 "Visible Light Sensitivity Enhancement of CMOS image sensor with pseudo high refractive index film integrated by directed self-assembly process" 라는 제목으로 출판되었다.
